Company “Tahlil va Mashvarat” (Dushanbe) invites applications for the position of Accountant-Cashier — a specialist to support the Finance Department and ensure the accuracy of financial accounting.
“Tahlil va Mashvarat” is part of Zerkalo Analytics Group — a leading research group in Central Asia, bringing together four organizations in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. We conduct a full range of sociological and marketing research, including surveys, focus groups, in-depth interviews, observations, and project evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
The Accountant-Cashier will support the Finance Department. The main duties include, but are not limited to:
Accounting:
Maintain accurate and timely accounting records in 1C: Accounting software (including bank and cash operations).
Cash Operations:
Manage cash transactions, including receiving, disbursing, and safeguarding cash in accordance with internal control procedures.
Bank Operations:
Process and reconcile bank statements, ensuring compliance with organizational and national financial regulations.
Reporting:
Prepare, verify, and submit advance reports and other supporting financial documentation.
Payroll:
Support payroll documentation preparation, ensure timely salary payments, and provide salary-related certificates upon request.
Project Payments:
Ensure timely processing of project-related payments (including regional transactions) via bank transfers and cash operations.
Compliance:
Monitor adherence to internal financial policies, donor requirements, and relevant national legislation.
Candidate Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting, cash operations, or financial management (experience with NGOs or project-based organizations is an advantage).
Software:
Proficiency in 1C: Accounting (version 8.3 – Cash) and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Legal Knowledge:
Excellent understanding of financial and tax legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Skills:
Proven experience managing cash and bank operations with high accuracy.
Personal Qualities:
High integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail.
Languages:
Strong communication skills in Tajik and Russian (knowledge of English is an advantage).

Working Conditions

Employment type: Full-time, office-based in Dushanbe.
Contract duration: 12 months with possible extension.
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 (including lunch break).
Estimated salary: Competitive, from 3,000 TJS per month (including taxes) plus additional project-based allowances.
