The top five favorite singers of Tajik citizens in 2018 were: Nigina Amonqulova, Shabnami Surayo, Ziyoviddin Nurzod, Afzalsho Shodiev and Zulaykho Mamadshoeva.
Among the youth, Shabnami Surayo is more popular, while Nigina Amonqulova is favored among the middle-aged and older age groups.
A phone survey among 408 residents of Tajikistan was conducted by Z-analytics Group from December 13 to 17, 2018.
The sample was random and proportional by region and gender of the respondents. To ensure representativeness, the data was statistically weighted by region, locality, and the age-gender distribution of the country’s population.
The phone number database for contacting respondents was generated by Z-analytics Group specialists based on all number pools issued by Tajikistan’s telecom operators. All phone numbers from the Beeline, MegaFon Tajikistan, Tcell, and Babilon-M mobile operators were included in the database for random call selection.
